For Spring 2014, Dior launched the very Limited Edition Trianon Collection, a selection of pastels for the eyes with blushed cheeks and pops of colour on the lips. See the entire range of this special collection here!

Today I present to you some of my favourites from this pretty collection!

Let’s start with Diorblush Trianon Edition in Corail Bagatelle (763) – a beautiful and universally flattering coral shade embossed with a beautiful vintage bow motif in Dior’s signature mirrored case with its own velour pouch.  I think this is one of my favourite blush shades ever! Truly suitable to almost any skin tone, this pinky-coral shade applies softly to start, yet is highly buildable to your desired level of blush. There is a hint of fine shimmer in this blush that translates to a glowing, but not sparkly, finish on the skin.

Below, Corail Bagatelle on the skin with an intense swatch on the left, and applied with a brush on the right of the photo:

Dior’s 5 Couleurs Eye Shadow Palette in Pastel Fontanges (234) includes a sugared-almond pink, baby blue/teal, golden pale yellow, a chocolate brown, and a soft, warm grey. Adorned with the emblematic bow, a beaded ribbon and the Dior signature, the spring, limited edition of the 5 Couleur palette takes a delightful dive into the world of the Petit Trianon. This gorgeous retro palette with two applicators and in a signature Dior velour pouch, is almost too pretty to use, no?

Below, swatches of 5 Couleurs shimmering shades, starting with the warm grey (top left in the palette and going clockwise) from left to right: Warm grey, baby teal, almond pink, chocolate, golden pale yellow. Most of this palette is shimmering in very soft pastel shades, with the chocolate being the darkest and most matte, and the centre golden highlight shade possessing the most obvious sparkle. Angelic, girly, and so pretty!

To amp up the lips against the soft eyes presented in Dior Trianon, Dior presents Rouge Dior in a bright yet pastel coral, Rose Crinoline and in pure fuchsia, Allégresse.

Below, Rose Crinoline, a pale coral that leaned almost towards a brightened pink-nude on me:

and Rouge Dior in Allégresse, a sexy, bold but creme, fuchsia:

The concentrated shine of Dior Addict Gloss is presented in shades of Pétillante peach and Exquise pink. Both shades are complementary to the two limited edition Trianon Rouge Dior.

The limited release Dior Vernis Trianon nail lacquer shades, inspired by the Trianon garden, included seasonal floral hues of cornflower in Porcelaine, soft peach of Bouquet, and the pure fuchsia of Bloom.

Dior_Spring2014_DiorVernis

A play on texture inspired by the porcelain and china of the 18th century, the matte topper Perlé provided the finishing effect! If you follow me, you know how much fun I had with these shades by using them in this abstract mani:

Dior_Vernis S14 Trianon Abstract Nailart2

With this collection, Dior introduced a new variation of its iconic Lip Glow in a Trianon-exclusive shade: Coral. Sheer, ultra-moisturizing, and a fantastic base for Dior Addict or Rouge Dior, I loved combining it with simply a hint of Dior Addict in Pétillante.

Robert Pattinson, the new face of Dior Homme, brings casual seduction to the Dior Homme campaign.
Unfettered, in the wind and the sun.
He states his elegance outdoors, with cool sophistication.
Throwing conventions and constraints to the wind.

Dior_EauForMenThe fragrance resembles the man himself, a unique territory where elegance can be light and free.
Where sophistication shuns ostentation.
The legendary Dior Homme accord is revisited by François Demachy in its timeless clean signature.
An olfactory cotton freshness, crisp but lingering, sober yet bright.
An exercise in style that reflects the quest for fine materials: Calabrian Bergamot, Grapefruit Blossom and White Musks.
The simple luxury of an instant pleasure.

Dior Homme, the clean fragrance of a free man, photographed by Kim Chapiron behind the scenes on the set of Romain Gavras’ film, featuring Led Zeppelin’s Whole Lotta Love on the soundtrack:

The fragrance is a fresh and gripping composition with incisive, spicy top notes of Moroccan Grapefruit, Calabrian Bergamot and Crimean Coriander.
The heart unfolds with elegant, sexy Tuscan Iris while the invigorating base of Virginia Cedar Wood powerfully unfurls with a masculine and sophisticated signature.

Top Note:

Crimean Coriander, mainly used in cooking is classified as an aromatic. It contains linalool, adding fresh, peppery and zesty notes to Fougere, Citrus and Chypres fragrances. Captivating and mysterious, it is the enchanting top note of Dior Homme Eau for Men.

Heart Note:

Tuscan Iris, Iris Absolute is one of the most precious elements of the perfumer’s palette. Its extraction is a very long and delicate process. The rhizome must first be dried for at least three years. Its extraordinarily strong, almost pervasive fragrance of powdery accords reveals its woody green tones, bringing to mind the reassuring aroma of warm bread.

Base Note:

Virginia Cedar, native to the United States, Cedar Wood Essence is obtained using steam distillation. Its refined, noble aura makes it a perfect base note in a host of men’s fragrances, to which it brings an intense, energetic quality.

Dior_Homme_Eau

My Verdict?

At first spray, I fell in love. Dior Homme Eau for Men immediately emits a scent of masculinity and sexiness. Provocative thanks to its spicy top notes. I am very particular about men’s cologne; preferring spicy and sultry, sometimes a hint of sweetness… I love crisp aromas. I veer between a clean, fresh scent, linen-like, for summer, and a stronger, spicier scent overall. Dior Homme Eau completely fits the bill. One word of advice: spray lightly until the fragrance settles to find your perfect aromatic balance.

The bottle… oh the bottle. Like an architectural masterpiece, Dior Homme Eau’s bottle stands tall and rectangular in a minimalist fashion. With a slight smoky gray tinted glass matching its box, and subtle black details (on the atomizer), the bottle is elegant, simple yet luxurious, reminiscent of a tall glass skyscraper.

And I should note that Dior Homme Eau has already won over the husband. (That did not take long.)

“To be transformed into the most beautiful woman, this is the dream of every woman.” Christian Dior

And now, no matter your age or skin tone, you can achieve radiant, even skin with no dark spots or discolouring, skin that is soft with a refined skin texture and tightened pores. In other words, perfect skin – even without makeup – that reflects youthfulness and vitality.

Dior introduces Capture Totale Dreamskin to their Capture Totale line-up. For the first time, Dior Science is able to act simultaneously on the skin’s quality, uniformity and youthfulness. Dreaming up a ‘smart’ and exceptional formula capable of delivering results both optically and biologically, with surprising skin-perfecting effectiveness on the surface for skin that appears flawless on application, but also a formula able to penetrate deep down for global age-defying effectiveness and results over time.

dreamskinSource

A paradox that defies classic formulation laws and makes Dreamskin so incredible.
300 ingredients were analyzed and over 200 formulation trials conducted to create THE formula that would satisfy all these demands.

To be applied on its own or after your usual skincare, and adaptable to all beauty routines.

Dreamskin promises to free the skin from all sources of uneven colour and texture and to restore the beauty characteristics of young skin. I started using Dreamskin about two weeks ago, and really love what it’s doing for my skin. It’s a weightless lotion with a slight pink hue that pumps out a measured amount each time, and I personally like to use it after or in lieu of my day moisturizer every morning. It is very light and dries pretty matte, making it a nice base for your foundation. It truly creates a beautiful canvas for you to start your day with.

Dior_CaptureTotale

Dreamskin is now available for $115 Cdn wherever Dior Capture Totale is sold, and from I understand, it is selling out quickly! With regular, once-daily use, the 30 ml pump should last up to about two months – fantastic considering that one pump is more than enough!

Eva Herzigova, shot by Patrick Demarchelier, is the face of Capture Totale and she could not be more perfect:

EvaHerzigova-DiorCT-DreamskinSource

See her video:

Capture Totale also created a Sérum de Teint, an incredible liquid foundation with triple-action youth correcting power. Wrinkles, dark spots and radiance are targeted in an extension of the beauty routine inititated by Capture Totale skincare.

This triple action helps to smooth the surface of the epidermis, correcting dark spots, mild redness and other imperfections, and makes your skin glow with a youthful radiance. The foundation also contains SPF 25 to protect you from the sun’s rays.

Perfect complexion, dream skin, for radiant beauty.

Dior_CaptureTotale_makeupBtl

This makeup is like Photoshop for your skin. I’ve been wearing it for the past few weeks and never dreamed I would love any liquid foundation more than Dior’s Airflash foundation (which is amazing and so easy to wear and work with), but Capture Totale’s Radiance Restoring Serum Foundation provides flawless coverage without being cakey or too much even with its great coverage. It can be applied by massaging the foundation gently outward from the centre of your face, using either your fingertips or Dior’s Fluid Foundation Brush (in either Light or High Coverage). The fluid is creamy without being oily, and leaves a lovely dewy finish behind, making your skin glow and even.  I’ve had a rough week, and really needed all the makeup/coverage I could find (trust me), and using this foundation almost eliminated any need for concealer. It is truly that amazing. On a regular workday, I could get away with applying only the Capture Totale Foundation – truly no concealer needed. If you love a matte face, feel free to swipe some powder on your t-zone and over eyelids, and you’re ready to go. What I love most is that it feels as though I am not wearing any foundation. And at the end of the day, I’m not rushing to remove it like I normally do with makeup – it feels like it’s barely there!

This is what the fluid looks like on my inner arm:

Dior_CaptureTotale_makeup

Capture Totale’s Radiance Restoring Serum Foundation SPF 15 retails for $85 Cdn and is available now at Dior counters nationwide.

Please let me know if you try either Dreamskin or Capture Totale Foundation and what you think of it!

In October of last year, Dior relaunched the iconic Rouge Dior in four stunning star shades: Grége 1947, Trafalgar, Darling and the infamous 999. These star shades head each of the collection’s four colour ranges.

Below, L to R: Rouge Dior in 999, Darling, Trafalgar, and Grége 1947

Dior_RougeDior_4new

999

999 is a tribute to Christian Dior’s first lipstick, 9, which would resurface later as 99, and then again, exactly 10 years ago, as 999. “I adore red, it is the colour of life,” Christian Dior would say of his lucky charm colour, of which he advised all women to wear a touch, to light up their complexion and their style.
A highly wearable red leaning more warm than cool, 999 is gorgeous. Bright without overpowering, red, sexy, alluring, this creme applies like butter thanks to its nourishing formula. Best of all, applly 999 with its matching Dior Contour Lipliner Pencil in 999 for all-day wear. Below, worn without lipliner:

RougeDior_999

Grége 1947

Grége 1947 is a subtle, definitively Dior blend of grey and beige that has always been inseparable from the history of the house, from the Bar suits of the very first collection, to the nude looks of the latest catwalk shows.
Rumour has it this is Natalie Portman’s favourite Rouge Dior shade, and Grége 1947 has also become mine. I’m a lipstick-girl, and this has become my go-to shade for everyday (as evidenced by the dwindling lipstick tube). Gorgeous, nude with a touch of pinky-beige, this no-fuss colour pretty much applies itself.

RougeDior_Greige

Darling

Darling, a sparkling, vivid pink, is reminiscent of Dior’s “Chéries,” his colourful, inspired and inspirational muses.
I feel like I am gushing over every shade in this blog post, but I can’t help it. Darling is darling! A fuchsia-pink, Darling is a bright gorgeous pop of colour, and makes for a wonderful substitute for a red lip. Daring and bold, wear Darling and transform into one of Dior’s Chéries!

RougeDior_Darling

Trafalgar

And finally, Trafalgar is a coral that takes its name from the flamboyant dresses that the couturier would send out as a flash of colour to act like a gunshot, shaking up the rhythm of a show containing more than 140 designs.
Trafalgar is vibrant orange-red, much more vibrant than 999 was on me. This bold hue is intense but again, very wearable due to its creme finish.

RougeDior_Trafalgar

The Dior website description explains why these shades are so moisturizing:

Rouge Dior is a wardrobe of 32 sublime shades directly inspired by the deep, luxurious colors of Dior Haute Couture gowns to reveal all the beauty of triumphant and radiant femininity! Instantly and day after day, this exceptional lipstick offers the lips the extreme splendor of full, smooth and perfectly defined youthfulness.
The secret? A new generation of plumping hyaluronic acid microspheres. Generously coated with pigments on the lip surface, they help boost the radiance and depth of color.
In a midnight blue Haute Couture case, with the canework motif dear to the brand, unveils the “Haute Couleur” stick, made even more extraordinary due to its unique shine and its engraved CD signature.

What I love is that the bright shades are buildable: for less intensity, apply a light swipe of lipstick, and for the bright look featured here, apply generously. I so wanted to choose a favourite for you but I simply couldn’t. The shades are each gorgeous for a different look, and I am enjoying every one for a different mood!

Rouge Dior is available now at Dior counters nationwide. For more information, head to Dior.com or check TheBay.com or Sephora.com for online shopping.

Continuing on in with its Versailles-inspired looks, this time from the 18th century Petite Trianon of Marie-Antoinette, Dior brings us the Trianon Collection for Spring 2014.

A play on texture inspired by the porcelain and china of the 18th century, the Dior Vernis Trianon Edition nail lacquer looks matte on application before revealing a completely new pearl-frost effect. All Dior Trianon makeup will be available mid-January.

In addition to the limited edition makeup, Dior releases four new additions to their Extreme Backstage professional line-up. The new Pore Minimizer is a perfecting, matifying base that diminishes pores and creates a matte effect upon application, refining skin texture and smoothing fine lines. Its filler spheres combined with soft-focus pigments even out the complexion and erase imperfections invisibly and weightlessly, leading to perfect-looking skin even in close-up.

Tips: Apply all over to hydrated skin, starting at centre of face and blending outwards and upwards with fingertips. Pore Minimizer can be used alone or under foundation for optimal application and hold.
Touch up during the day to matify and diminish pores by patting gently onto required areas then blending with fingertips.

Glow Maximizer radiance booster provides skin an infusion of light without shine or iridescence. Inspired by studio reflectors, its imperceptible texture contains microscopic mirrors to instantly illuminate the face, sculpting features and correcting colour imperfections. Dark shadows fade, and the complexion looks as radiant as under studio lighting.

Tips: As a booster: mix a pea-sized quantity with foundation and apply a light layer to well-hydrated skin, blending outwards and upwards.
To sculpt the face: pat gently over makeup onto the desired light-catching areas such as the forehead, bridge of nose, brow bone and cheekbones.

Both Dior Pore Minimizer and Glow Maximizer will be available at Sephora January 17th, everywhere on January 30th, 2014. $42 Cdn each.

Dior_Spring2014_PoreMin_GlowMax

For the eyes, Dior makes professional perfection accessible to every woman with the introduction of its new eye primer Backstage Eye Prime. Its secret is a weightless volatile oil that once applied, evaporates to fix the makeup. Using pigments from foundation technologies, the eye primer unifies and corrects the lid complexion for a perfect eye makeup base. Throughout the day, the primer prevents eyeshadow from creasing, keeping colour even and true all day long. Dior Backstage Eye Prime will be available at Sephora January 17th, everywhere on January 30th, 2014. $30 Cdn each.

This was the first of the new products I had to test, and I must say, I am impressed. Eye Prime applies like a concealer-type cream, immediately drying to a powder-like finish. I have tried wearing it as a base to powder eye shadow as well as smudged kohl-type liner/shadows, and true to its promise, no creasing and no wearing off of my eye makeup. There are very few eye primers that have held up to my standards – in fact, I have relied on only one product thus far – but Dior’s eye primer is truly ‘backstage’ material.

Dior_Spring2014_EyePrime

Finally, Dior introduces a new variation of its iconic Lip Glow: a coral edition! An exclusive for the Trianon collection, the universal lip balm imprints a flash of sunlight on your lips, heightening their natural colour. $35 Cdn, available mid-January.

(Products were provided for consideration and review. All opinions are my own.)

On a recent trip to Dior (more on that here), I headed to the Dior counter looking to stock up on my Diorshow Mascara…  instead I was led to this miraculous, non-greasy oil. Launched this past summer (2013), this product somehow evaded me until my fortunate trip to the Holt Renfrew Dior counter last week, where somehow, in conversation, the DBA (designated beauty advisor) asked me if I had tried Dior’s Instant Gentle Cleansing Oil… then proceeded to apply some over the lipstick swatch smeared on my hand. With a little rub, the colour almost melted off my skin, and with a damp wipe, left my hand glowing, nourished.. and not oily!

Rated as one of InStyle’s Best Summer Skincare Products for 2013, Dior’s Instant Gentle Cleansing Oil truly is remarkable. Suitable for all skin types, this oil dissolves makeup when massaged onto skin, leaving no greasy residue yet preserving the natural hydration of skin. Formulated with Pure Lily Extract, also present in Dior’s Instant Cleansing Water, it helps to inhibit skin inflammation. Possessing a slight, soft and very pretty scent, it is not strong enough to be offensive to those not fond of scented products.

I am so obsessed with this product that I can’t imagine living without it anymore. I literally pump twice into my hand each night, emulsify and warm up the clear oil by rubbing hands together, and rub on my dry face including the eye area (can be used on dry or damp skin). Eye liner, mascara, foundation – it all starts to melt off! You can add some water and continue massaging to remove the makeup, or use a soft cloth while rinsing to wipe the face clean, which is what I like to do. I usually follow up with my regular foaming cleanser. What’s incredible is the fact that it actually rinses clean and leaves no residue or film behind, truly cleaning your face of all its makeup.

Recently I had the pleasure of attending an exclusive Dior Institut express/mini facial, featuring Dior’s intense age-defying skincare from the miraculous sap of the Chateau d’Yquem vines: L’Or de Vie.

For the past four centuries at the Chateau d’Yquem, a unique vine has grown stronger and more beautiful every year. After identifying ten polyphenols (which are antioxidants that neutralize free radicals; free radicals are thought to be responsible for aging in our skin) in the heart of the sap, Dior researchers have continued to unravel Yquem’s mysteries. In 2011 they discovered a new active molecule that has the power to reverse the effects of time, and in 2012, revealed Botrytis Cinerea, the new secret from this vine. Botrytis Cinerea is a substance that is normally a plague to vines, but in Yquem it mysteriously reverses the process, becoming beneficial to the vines.

ChateauDYquemsource

Delicately removed from the sap of the vines, the precious molecules are extracted through a 17-step purification process, then carefully concentrated into the luxurious L’Or de Vie collection. L’Or de Vie promises smoother, firmer and more luminous skin.

Dior_LordeVie1

My express-facial felt like a mini-oasis in the midst of an urban storm. I was welcomed by Dior’s PR executive and Dior’s lovely Education Manager, Annemarie Van Meer, who proceeded to take me to a private cabine to relax, unwind and enjoy this most luxurious treatment. Though short in time, the experience felt anything but, as Annemarie educated me on L’Or de Vie’s history and products while applying them. I truly felt rejuvenated and best of all, my skin actually glowed after the treatment!

Included in my preview of the stunning new Dior collection for Holiday 2013, Golden Winter, was the new Diorific Jewel Manicure Duo, a three-dimensional-effect mani which was inspired by the magnificent adornments of Versailles. Dior reinvents its jewel nail lacquer with this duo that teams a gold base with crystal micro-pearls to sprinkle over nails.

Dior_JewelManicureduo

Sold in a gold box, the duo also includes a beautiful matching mini gold funnel to return sprinkled micro-pearls into the bottle. The beads look like little balls of glass in the gorgeous retro Diorific Vernis bottle, and the golden polish is simply beautiful – a perfect shade of neutral gold.

The application is fairly simple:

1. Apply a coat of polish, let dry.
2. Working one nail at a time, apply a second coat of polish, and immediately sprinkle the pearls onto the nail.
3. Press the pearls gently onto the nail to help them adhere.
4. Et voila!

To show you both the beautiful gold base colour and the pearls, I applied an accent nail of “jewels” on my ring finger.

Dior_Diorific_Jewel_ManiDuo

Some macros of the nail art:

Dior_Diorific_Jewel_ManiDuo_Macro2

Dior_Diorific_Jewel_ManiDuo_Macro

The gold polish is simply beautiful, drying quickly to an almost lamé-looking finish. The metallic finish does allow for slight brush marks, but I found that applying two generous coats, from base to tip in a swift motion, limited these. What a gorgeous gold!

The three-dimension manicure has become a big hit in the recent past, but I’ve never really had a desire to try it – maybe because I can be very discriminating with texture on nails or the fact that this would not last longer than an hour on me!  Dior’s beautiful packaging and retro bottles take it from just nail art to gorgeous bottles of art, and the micro-pearls are sparkly and reflective, and I loved the easy application.

If you’re a Dior connoisseur, you will want to get your hands on this limited edition duo!

What do you think of Dior’s foray into 3D nail art?

Inspired by Versailles at the heart of winter, the Dior Golden Winter Holiday Colour Collection is based around shades of pink and gold, emblematic codes of the House of Dior since the first couture collection in 1947. Dior was particularly influenced by the golden era of Versailles fashion, which celebrated femininity with its ornate fabrics and structured dresses that enhanced the waist.

Versailles-Winter-GardenVersailles Winter Garden (Source)

This holiday, the splendor of Versailles shines on in the Dior makeup collection, which draws inspiration from images of the iconic palace and its gardens covered in snow. Eyes are dressed in sparkling hues of white, yellow and rose golds, while lips are highlighted in sparkling fuchsia, vibrant red, and a rich burgundy. Nails complete the look in rosy taupe, red and golden plum.

Much like the 5 Couleurs palette from the Dior Mystic Metallics collection, the two 5 Couleurs Eye Shadow palettes in the Golden Winter collection are like tiny works of art. Beautifully finished with a quilted pattern, the 5 eye shadows in each Golden Flower (634) and Golden Snow (644) should have appeal to everyone.

Golden Flower is a beautiful warm palette, including a pearly peach, a vanilla shimmer, a rich chocolate, a gilded bronze, and a whitened gold glitter in the centre. I am totally obsessed with this palette! It is perfect for most skin tones and can be used for both day and night looks. What more can you ask for?

Dior_Holiday_5Couleurs_GoldenFlower_634Golden Flower (634)

The Golden Snow palette leans a touch cooler than Golden Flower, and includes a pale pink shimmer, a medium-toned gold glitter, a blackened-steel grey, a grey-lilac, and in the centre, a snow white glitter. Another spectacular colour combination, with a perfect name!

Dior_Holiday_5Couleurs_GoldenSnow_644Golden Snow (644)

Presented in a vintage-looking golden tube, the Diorific Lipsticks of this collection are presented in three gorgeous shades: Diva (038), Winter (042) and Minuit (046).

Diva is a a ruby red, perfect for the holiday and winter season. Winter is a deep burgundy creme for your inner seductress, and Minuit is a sparkling fuchsia. See Minuit and Diva below:

Two sparkling Dior Addict Gloss shades are also available in Enchanted Rose (451), a sheer nude with pearl-pink finish, and Pink Fantasy (776), a scintillating sheer but vibrant raspberry sparkler (top to bottom):

Three divine Diorific Vernis shades complete your look in Frimas (318), Minuit (995) and Marilyn (751), below left to right. Aren’t they magnificent?

Daylight, indoors, in Monsieur Dior’s design studio.
Lucky, one of the couturier’s star models, is theatrically draped in scarlet satin fabric like an incandescent diva. Red sets the scene…

This seductive and dynamic signature colour was used constantly by the genius couturier, who was sensitive to the radiance of its myriad tones, from deep carmine to luminous poppy, which passionately outlined the contours of a highly desirable woman…

From the very beginning, Christian Dior dreamed of a unique and visionary style of beauty. “Dressing women’s smile,” was the leitmotif that led him to propose Dior’s elegance as a total look, from a dress, down to a lipstick.

In 1949, at 30 Avenue Montaigne, the first Rouge Dior was born, where it was sold exclusively in the Colifichets boutique. It was a concentrate of pure colour, whose shades were inspired by the couturier’s fabrics – the perfect lipstick. Women had waited for it so long it was an overnight success. Catapulted into the realms of style, Rouge Dior became the emblem of Dior make-up. Since 1953, more than 1500 shades of Dior lipstick were to follow…

Following 60 years of the art of colour, the incomparable Rouge Dior is now celebrating its 60th anniversary, creating the perfect opportunity for the house to reinvent its cult lipstick. Resolutely Couture, each new shade carries a name linked to the Dior fashion world. Starting with the star shades that head each of the collection’s four colour ranges:

Grége 1947

Grége 1947 is a subtle, definitively Dior blend of grey and beige that has always been inseparable from the history of the house, from the Bar suits of the very first collection, to the nude looks of the latest catwalk shows.

Darling

Darling, a sparkling, vivid pink, is reminiscent of Dior’s “Chéries,” his colourful, inspired and inspirational muses.

Trafalgar

And finally, Trafalgar is a coral that takes its name from the flamboyant dresses that the couturier would send out as a flash of colour to act like a gunshot, shaking up the rhythm of a show containing more than 140 designs.

Launching four new alluring shades of Dior Vernis with this launch, these shades work in perfect harmony with the new star shades of Rouge Dior. Three of the shades match their Rouge Dior counterparts (Trafalgar, Darling, 999), while one Dior Vernis shade fully deserves to stand alone (and stand out): Dior Vernis in Nuit 1947, a deep, blackened cherry in a cream-jelly hybrid formula with blinding shine.
