(And if you hurry in to stores, you may be able to score an “adoption kit” with a cute puffin plushy and adoption certificate!)
Maintaining Kiehl’s longstanding support of the environment, sales from the Limited Edition Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado will be used by Kiehl’s to symbolically adopt 300 puffins as part of the CWF Adopt a Species program. The Canadian Wildlife Federation will use the Kiehl’s adoption funds to support research projects to help better understand threats facing Canada’s at-risk seabirds and ensure their habitat is conserved through the CWF Endangered Species program. The program helps threatened and at-risk species through ground-breaking research projects and engaging education programs. Through “Kiehl’s Gives” initiatives to date, the brand has raised over $2,000,000 for environmental issues worldwide.
“Maintaining Kiehl’s longstanding mission of giving back to the community in support of environmental initiatives, we are delighted to be partnering with the Canadian Wildlife Federation to help conserve Canada’s natural environments, providing assistance to wildlife in need,” said Kristin Armstrong, Vice-President General-Manager, Kiehl’s Canada.
The unique label of the Limited Edition Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado features a work of art from the renowned Canadian artist Robert Bateman called “Bright Day – Atlantic Puffins”. Famous for his environmental paintings, Bateman’s art reflects his commitment to ecology and conservation.
KIEHL’S CREAMY EYE TREATMENT WITH AVOCADO
An eye cream providing a richer, creamier texture
Responding to customer requests and needs, Kiehl’s Since 1851 proudly introduced Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado in 2009 and it quickly became a Kiehl’s customers’ favourite.
This thick, creamy preparation helps keep the delicate skin around the eye area well hydrated. The fatty acids naturally found in Avocado Oil are superbly rich and act as effective moisturizers. Additionally, they provide a natural and gentle source of Vitamin A. Contains a high level of Shea Butter, known as a skin conditioning agent.
There is a unique two-part structure of the cream for dual hydration. Upon immediate application, the cream feels buttery to the skin. Gently blending the preparation on the skin will burst a barrier so that water is then released for maximum moisturization. This cream feels soothing to the skin and offers a most refreshing sensation. The texture also allows the cream to hold its place in the delicate under-eye area so it absorbs well and will not migrate into the eyes.
This colorant and fragrance-free treatment has been Ophthalmologist tested to be safe and gentle for use around the eye area. Additionally, this eye cream can be worn day or night. It also performs well under eye makeup.
Key Ingredients: Avocado Oil, Vitamins A & E, Shea Butter, Sodium PCA and Beta-Carotene.
Key Formula Attributes: A thick, creamy, superbly moisturizing treatment for the delicate eye area.
Retail Price: $57 (28ml)
The Limited Edition Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado is available at Kiehl’s stores and www.kiehls.ca, as of April 7, 2015.
