Today I have for you another polish from one of my favourite indies: Aphrodite Lacquers!
Rebecca, the creator behind this genius “jellies in a bottle” line, released her Romance Collection at the beginning of the summer. (Gosh, “beginning of the summer” sounds like so long ago already!) This collection is made up of glitter-packed vibrant jellies, one of which I bring you today: Enchant.
Enchant is a very light-green jelly packed with tiny green micro-glitters that make it look more fern-green than light green. There are also small green and white hex glitters, creating a gorgeous polish full of depth and shimmer.
For these swatches, I used 3 thin coats of Enchant over China Glaze’s Strong Adhesion Basecoat, and topped with A England’s The Shield top coat.
Can you see the tiny micro-glitters? : )
This macro shot will show you both the jelly goodness and all of the glitters:
Enchant is a stunning green polish – not for the faint of heart! ;-))
And I have to say, one of the best things about Aphrodite Lacquers (besides the amazing customer service and speedy shipping) is how easily these glitter polishes remove. I use the foil method for maybe a minute each hand, and these puppies slide right off with the cotton pad. If in a hurry, they come off very easily with just cotton balls and nail polish remover. It’s almost like they melt off. No scrubbing!!!
To see all of the latest from Aphrodite Lacquers, go to her Facebook page or follow her on Twitter!

So… have you tried any Aphrodite Lacquers? What’s your favourite colour?
