Happy weekend! Hope you all had a wonderful holiday, and were able to spend it with your loved ones. Have you gone Boxing Day shopping (and dared to brave the shops)?
Today I have for you two more Gwen Stefani for OPI shades, a collection that I am totally obsessed with (and it does not disappoint)!
The first shade, I Sing in Color, is a deep burgundy vampy creme that is right up my vamp-loving alley. I have lost count of how many dark to blackened polishes I own, but no matter, I Sing in Color is perfection and a must-have. The creme formula was so saturated that it was almost a one-coater, and not only did it apply easily, it dried to a stunning high gloss finish. Below are two coats over base, without top coat:
In True Stefani Fashion is the only glitter of this 7-piece collection, and, like the rest of this collaboration, it perfectly captures Gwen Stefani’s punk-rock-yet-sophisticated-goddess spirit. A clear base, it is filled with holographic micro-glitter pieces, along with small round and square (!!) glitter. It is the perfect glitter top coat for all of Gwen’s shades and provides just the right amount of glitter. Here it is over I Sing in Color:
I especially love In True Stefani Fashion as a gradient – the different sized glitters easily blend into the base shade to gradually build up… and the holo reflection? Like a disco ball on your nails!
See the gorgeous hot pink/fuchsia crème lacquer Hey Baby and the molten semi-matte gold Love.Angel.Music.Baby here! I hope to get the other shades along with the special base coat Lay Down that Base for the chrome finish Push and Shove soon and will share them as soon as I do!
Gwen Stefani by OPI nail lacquers contain no DBP, Toluene, or Formaldehyde, and feature OPI’s exclusive ProWide™ Brush for the ultimate in application. This promotion will be available beginning January 2014 at professional salons and spas.
Which one is your favourite Gwen by OPI shade so far?
