Star Light, Star Bright…

First of all, I’m so sorry for not having posted in a while… I have had a couple of blog ideas but just have not had a chance to download or edit pics and write the blogs…  I promise you I have been great at taking pictures of my manis though! : )

Today I have for you another Aphrodite Lacquers jelly beauty. I had hoped to post about two polishes from her new Outta This World collection, but today I will show you one: gorgeous Nebula.

A nebula is a bright cloud of dust and various gases that can sometimes be seen in a night sky, often reflecting some luminosity like a galaxy (far, far away… ok I couldn’t resist lol).

Nebula looks JUST like I imagine this to be! It looks like a star-lit gorgeous black sky, peppered with light blue and silver little stars. The polish is a stunning black jelly, leaning more towards the opaque side than Rum Runner or Grapetini did, so for this look I only needed two coats. There are pale blue, almost turquoise, glitters and tiny shimmers along with some silver to lighten things up.

In the picture below, you can see the amazing jelly effect – it really looks like a jelly sandwich I made! (but I’m not this good! 🙂 )

As you can tell from my other posts about Aphrodite, I am in love. After some of the recent drama out there in nail-world, I cannot tell you what a pleasure it is to interact with an indie creator whose customer service is bar none, who cares about the beauties she creates, and whose goal is to bring us a smile in the form of a little bottle.

Not to mention, my Aphrodites have all worn chip-free for about a week, when I finally removed them for my next colour. 🙂

If you haven’t “met” Aphrodite Lacquers yet, might I introduce you on her Facebook page, here.

Her Etsy shop is currently closed, but I believe she will be opening shortly — link here. Hope you enjoyed this stunner as much as I have. ~xoxo
