You know what is easily one of the best feelings?
Have a problem… come up with a solution!
And that’s exactly what happened earlier this year! Every year, around the end of November when I start to reach for my little snowy village, I dread the fake snow that sits underneath it. It’s rough, lumpy and bumpy, it gets flat, it needs to be replaced every year or two… and frankly, I had had enough. Imagine my delight when one of my dearest friends pointed to my skeins of KnitPicks Fable Fur yarn and suggested using that instead! ???? How had I not thought of this??
Meet Snowscape Decorative Snow!
In collaboration with KnitPicks, I am thrilled to be able to bring you Snowscape Decorative Snow! A simple and quick pattern, my “snow” works up quickly thanks to the super-bulky weight of Fable Fur. I will admit that this yarn does take some getting used to, but once you realize how forgiving it is, you will breeze through this project! And did I mention… this pattern is FREE??
Head over to KnitPicks.com and grab your copy of Snowscape Knitting Pattern, or read more about it and queue it in your projects on Ravelry!
And remember to grab some Fable Fur yarn in Eisbar while you’re there!
This is going to become that knitting pattern you will make once… until someone asks for their own snow lol. And you’ll gift it to all your non-knitter friends. ????
Hope you enjoy making your faux snow! Tag me #SnowscapeSnow @The_Obsessed to share your makes!
~xoxo, Aire
