Halloween is behind us… the leaves have turned colours…
We are deep into November which for many of us in the Northern Hemisphere means it’s getting colder… and closer to gifting season!
With this in mind I thought I would gift you a little something!! ????????
Are you ready for today’s FREE knitting pattern?
A few months ago I wanted to use some cotton yarn I had in my stash, and thought it was perfect for making an easy headband for pulling my hair out of my face. This headband is made to be extra-long, then just knotted at the nape of your neck. Easy, breezy, and such a wonderful gift idea!
And best of all, it’s such a great stashbuster!! Find some cotton yarn and make some gift items (starting with one for yourself, of course)!
What’s great about this pattern is that while I used Knit Picks Dishie Yarn, which is a worsted weight 100% cotton, you can use something a little thinner if that’s what you happen to have in your stash. I could easily have used some of my We Are Knitters Pima Cotton as well!
And it’s a great beginner project! It’s knitted entirely in garter stitch, but has the added elegant finish of an i-cord edge. Ready to start?
