Hello August and hello bright and gorgeous Beachside Camisole!
When I first started working on the Poolside Camisole, I wanted an easy WIP that I could take anywhere, that would be a fast knit, and in the round. I immediately became obsessed with that pattern and quickly cast on another – but this time I wanted to play with We are Knitters’ latest yarn, their new Egyptian Cotton. I happened to have this incredible bright pink that they generously gifted me and I knew it would be perfect.

Another quick but beautiful summer top, the Beachside Camisole has an elegant lace pattern that can easily be layered throughout the year. In case you haven’t noticed, I’m utterly obsessed with my original cable strap design that I dreamed up to elevate my designs. What do you think? Are you obsessed like me?
In case you don’t have WAK’s Egyptian Cotton on hand, you can always use Wak’s Pima Cotton – but please test your gauge as you would for any design.
As always, this knitting pattern is size-inclusive, available in 10 sizes ranging from XXS to 5XL, and is worked up in the round – yes, almost seamlessly (only the straps are seamed on). It is designed to be close to the body with a little positive ease.
