Happy Valentine’s… + TWO FREE patterns!

Happy Valentine’s Day, friends! Whether this is a day you celebrate, or you just love on the kids/furbabies, or you prefer Galentine’s… I wanted to send some love your way! Know how loved you are, and that you deserve some me-time. ??

For my loyal readers, you’ll remember my first pattern launch a few weeks ago; in my beloved linen stitch. And today I am enclosing not one, but two, gifts for you!!

First let me tell you a little about my latest patterns. While I have a matching scarf pattern launching soon to go with my Niloo Headband, I decided to add a meditative and relaxing project in the shape of an infinity cowl. And because I am both a knitter and crocheter, I am releasing both a knitted version as well as a crochet in collaboration with my friends over at KnitPicks!

The Huggable Cowl is my knitted infinity cowl pattern! Knit in linen stitch, in this vibrant, stunning fuchsia, this cowl makes me so happy! I used KnitPicks Swish Worsted Yarn, a super-soft, non-scratchy 100% Fine Superwash Merino Wool. This yarn is available in a huge range of shades, which is one of the reasons I selected it. Plus, it’s machine-washable!! I used the shade Crush, and I only needed approximately five skeins to make the Huggable Cowl. It’s seamed together in a flash by using the whipstitch – and I made a video to show you how to whipstich! If you like the infinity scarf a bit larger, you can just add rows until you’re happy with it. 🙂

For the crocheters, the Huggable2 Cowl is for you. Crocheted in another vibrant shade, Serrano, this beauty is crocheted in the round (yay, no seaming!), also in linen stitch. It uses six skeins of KnitPicks Swish Worsted Yarn, and can also be made longer by increasing the initial number of chains before joining in the round. Then… you settle in to your fave podcast/tv show/music, and crochet away!

And now for your free gift:

In honour of my pattern launch for both the Huggable Cowl and Huggable2 Cowl, you can download either (or both!) patterns for free for one whole week! Head over to my Ravelry page, select the pattern you would like, add it to your cart and get it for free! The promo ends on February 21st, 2021.

NOTE: There are how-to videos available for the Linen Stitch or the whipstitch on my Instagram Reels and IGTV! More videos will be added regularly. ????

After the promo ends, you can purchase a low-cost ad-free PDF pattern on my Ravelry or Etsy stores! Thank you for supporting me as I embark on this designing adventure! ??
