Dior Trianon Spring Favourites

For Spring 2014, Dior launched the very Limited Edition Trianon Collection, a selection of pastels for the eyes with blushed cheeks and pops of colour on the lips. See the entire range of this special collection here!

Today I present to you some of my favourites from this pretty collection!

Let’s start with Diorblush Trianon Edition in Corail Bagatelle (763) – a beautiful and universally flattering coral shade embossed with a beautiful vintage bow motif in Dior’s signature mirrored case with its own velour pouch.  I think this is one of my favourite blush shades ever! Truly suitable to almost any skin tone, this pinky-coral shade applies softly to start, yet is highly buildable to your desired level of blush. There is a hint of fine shimmer in this blush that translates to a glowing, but not sparkly, finish on the skin.

Dior’s 5 Couleurs Eye Shadow Palette in Pastel Fontanges (234) includes a sugared-almond pink, baby blue/teal, golden pale yellow, a chocolate brown, and a soft, warm grey. Adorned with the emblematic bow, a beaded ribbon and the Dior signature, the spring, limited edition of the 5 Couleur palette takes a delightful dive into the world of the Petit Trianon. This gorgeous retro palette with two applicators and in a signature Dior velour pouch, is almost too pretty to use, no?

Below, swatches of 5 Couleurs shimmering shades, starting with the warm grey (top left in the palette and going clockwise) from left to right: Warm grey, baby teal, almond pink, chocolate, golden pale yellow. Most of this palette is shimmering in very soft pastel shades, with the chocolate being the darkest and most matte, and the centre golden highlight shade possessing the most obvious sparkle. Angelic, girly, and so pretty!

To amp up the lips against the soft eyes presented in Dior Trianon, Dior presents Rouge Dior in a bright yet pastel coral, Rose Crinoline and in pure fuchsia, Allégresse.

The concentrated shine of Dior Addict Gloss is presented in shades of Pétillante peach and Exquise pink. Both shades are complementary to the two limited edition Trianon Rouge Dior.

The limited release Dior Vernis Trianon nail lacquer shades, inspired by the Trianon garden, included seasonal floral hues of cornflower in Porcelaine, soft peach of Bouquet, and the pure fuchsia of Bloom.

A play on texture inspired by the porcelain and china of the 18th century, the matte topper Perlé provided the finishing effect! If you follow me, you know how much fun I had with these shades by using them in this abstract mani:

With this collection, Dior introduced a new variation of its iconic Lip Glow in a Trianon-exclusive shade: Coral. Sheer, ultra-moisturizing, and a fantastic base for Dior Addict or Rouge Dior, I loved combining it with simply a hint of Dior Addict in Pétillante.
